Width of cut
In compliance with the existing standards, the machine is provided with guards
covering the blade throughout its length except for the tract which is to be used to
make a cut. The width of the cut should be determined on the basis of the
longitudinal section of the workpiece, in order to leave free only the part of the
saw which will perform the cut.
" position the workpiece on the work table close to the blade vertical;
" loosen the ratchet lever on the sliding shaft of the front blade guide head;
" themobilefrontguideheadmustbepositionedneartothematerial,leaving
thedownstroketrajectoryfreetoreachbeyond theslidingvicejaw;
" tighten the ratchet lever to lock the head slide;
