CARPET/UPHOLSTERY SYSTEM
1.0 Unit does not spray soulution in carpet/uphostry mode
Possible Cause Solution
1.1 Solution tank(s) are empty. Fill as necessary.
1.2 Hose is not fully
connected.
Make sure hose quick connects are all fully engaged
and attached to machine.
1.3 Solution hose valve is
shut-o
Check hoses from the dash to the carpet/uphostry
tool valves are open (if equiped).
1.4 Orice is cloged. If solidied chemical is found in orice drain natural
tank and pour 3 gallons of vinegar into it. Run pump
without orice until you get vinegar out the natural
QC. Shut pump o let sit 60+ minutes .
Run pump until all vinegar is ushed out of tank, then
add water to tank and ush any additional debris or
chemical solution out of system.
Clean orice and screen and install. "
1.5 Air is trapped in pump. Remove the pump outlet hose and run pump until
solution comes out.
1.6 Lines are restricted from
pump
Verify hose is not crimped, pinched, or otherwise
restriced.
1.7 Pump inlet is restricted Open solution tank to check for debis is not blocking
pump inlet.
1.8 Pump is not working -
electrical
Check wiring to pump; pump should have 12 volts
with switch on.
1.9 Pump is not working -
mechanical
1) Remove hose from pump outlet - verify pump is
running.
2) Remove hose from pump inlet - check for
obstructions.
3) Check pressure switch is working and not shuting
o the pump.
4) Check pressure switch is not set too low."
