4.2.2 Setup of Optional Modules
The modules can be hot plugged.
Analog Audio / Serial Option:
1. Connect the audio source to the CPU Unit (e.g. CPU audio output
with audio input, CPU audio input with audio output).
2. Connect the audio output on the CON Unit to headphones or suitable
speakers.
3. Connect the audio input on the CON Unit to a suitable microphone.
Digital Audio Option:
1. Connect the digital audio source to the audio input of the CPU unit.
2. Connect the audio output of the CON Unit to suitable speakers or
audio amplifiers.
If se
veral active sources are connected, Mini-XLR input takes priority.
The audio signal
is available at all outputs.
USB-HID Add-On Option:
1. Connect the CPU to the CPU Unit (USB-HID 2).
2. Connect the USB-HID devices to the CON Unit (Connect to
USB-HID devices 2).
USB 2.0 Add-On Option:
1. Connect the CPU to the CPU Unit (USB 2.0).
2. Connect the USB 2.0 devices to the CON Unit (Connect to USB 2.0
devices).
