Exiting a Conference (Controller Only)
There are three (3) methods of exiting a conf erence:
Press the ON/OFF button to ON. Press the MUTE button,
and replace the han dset (to monitor a conference).
-or-
Press HOLD button to place outside parties on hold. Hold
timer sta rts. If one of the two parties is intern al, tha t p arty
is dropped.
-or-
Press the CONF button, then h ang u p or press the ON/
OFF button to leave the other conference parties still
connected in an unsupervised conference. The CONF
button LED flashes and timer starts. There is a warning
tone before the other parties are dropped.
Re-entering a Conference
When the controller re-en ters the co nferen ce, the disconnect
timer is reset.
To re-enter a monitored conference, lift handset.
To re-enter a conference placed on hold, repeat steps for
establishing a conference.
To re-enter an unsupervised conference, lift handset and
press flash ing CONF button. The CONF button lights
steady and a confirmation tone sounds.
Terminating a Conference
To terminate a Conference, the conference initiator must be
actively in the conferen ce:
Replace hand set or p ress th e ON/OF F button to OFF.
For confer ences involving anot her stat ion, it may be
necessary to press the flashing CONF button after
going on-hook.
