Answering an Outside Call
1. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF button.
2. Press slow flashing OUTSIDE LINE button or LOOP button.
(If your telephone is programmed with Pref erred Line
An swer, you may an swer an outside line by lifting the
handset or pressing the ON/OFF button.)
Placing an Outside Call
To acces s an outside line for dialing out:
1. Press idle CO line button, POOL button,
-or-
Dial CO line group access code or LCR access co de (9, 801-
823, 88+LLL).
LLL = CO Line Number
2. Dial th e d esired number for outs ide ca ll.
3. Lift handset or use speakerphone to converse with party.
Placing an Outside Line on Hold

If your system is programmed for Exclusive Hold
Pref erence, press the HOLD button on ce for Exclusive
Hold or twice for System Hold.

If your sy stem is pro grammed for System Hold
Pref erence, press the HOLD button on ce for System Hold
or twice for Exclusive Hold.
Paging
If you are given the ability to make page announcements.:
1. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF button.
2. Dial a two or three-digit paging code, or press the
pre-
programmed
PAGING flexible button.
