When the pre-aspiration holes are completely covered, most of the irrigation fluid may aspirate back through the handpiece, impairing cavitation;
thus reducing tissue ablation efficacy.
Aaching the Tubing
1. Open the CUSA Quick Connect™ Cartridge and Tubing Set using proper sterile technique.
3. Slide the flue onto the nosecone base along the tip.
4. Align the flue with the pre-aspiration holes at the distal end of the tip.
