141) or the zone has to return to normal and trigger again within the Double
Knock interval (see “8.1.4.1 Double knock interval” on page 141).
Note: If the option is active, the option “4.1.n.6.29 Held open” on page 103 is not
available.
4.1.n.6.5 Swinger shunt
If the Swinger shunt option is set to Yes, the number of alarms from this zone is
limited to the number set in “8.5.4 Swinger shunt” (see page 153) for one
set/unset cycle.
4.1.n.6.6 Anti mask
When the Anti-mask option is set to Yes, the lower alarm window, nominally half
of the EOL, is monitored for a detector masking condition.
See “Zone connection” on page 15 for more details.
4.1.n.6.7 Zone pairing
If the Zone pairing option is set to Yes, this zone is considered as active only
when two inputs activate: the assigned (n) and the next to the assigned (n+1).
The zone assigned to the next input (n+1) must exist in the system.
Note: It is not possible to use this option on the zone assigned to the last input
number.
4.1.n.6.8 Chime
If the Chime option is On, the zone can be switched off and, depending on “8.8.2
Chime” setting (see page 158), can activate a short signal on:
• The keypad buzzers on all keypads assigned to the related areas
• The internal siren assigned to the related areas
4.1.n.6.9 Soak test
The zone can be set in Soak test mode, which is useful for diagnostic purposes.
The zone in soak test does not generate alarms on the system but its activation
is logged. This zone is not checked during setting.
