40K Hose Connections
1. Remove the supply hose (Figure 79) (sup-
ply from charge pump) from the suction
elbow tting on the 15K/20K manifold.
2. Install the 40K manifold as outlined ear-
lier in this chapter.
3. Remove the plug from the lter outlet
hose (Figure 80). Connect the hose to the
elbow on the 40K manifold.
4. Remove the cap from the secondary lter
inlet coupling (Figure 80).
5. Install the charge pump supply hose on
the secondary lter inlet coupling.

CAUTION
When ushing the system before operation, purge
the secondary lter of air. Failure to do so could
cause pump cavitation and damage. Use the bleed
valve (Figure 81) on the lter to purge the air from
the lter.
