Problem Possible cause Solution
Back of the patient's
head is touching the
x-ray tube during the
exposure.
1. Patient's head
inclination not correct
2. Patient is too big for
the unit.
3. Patient has slumped.
If the image is not
acceptable then
1. Check the head
position and retake the
image.

positioning. Make the
exposure even though
the head may touch
the tube head.

Patient's shoulders are
touching the x-ray tube
or sensor.
Patient is too big for
the unit. Wide and high
shoulders.
Reverse patient's hands on
handles: left to right side
handle and vice versa.
3D: During the
patient positioining,
a notification to drive
carriage downwards
appears to the touch
panel.
Patient is tall and FOV
130 x 150 mm doesn’t
have enough room for
movement.
Seat the patient for the
exposure.
