6.5 Electricalisolationconcept
Thecontrolelectronics,withitslogic(μP),theencoderterminalsandthein
putsandoutputs,areelectricallyisolatedfromthepowersection(power
supply/intermediatecircuit).
Allcontrolterminalsaredesignedassafetyextralowvoltage/protectiveex
tralowvoltage(PELV)circuitsandmustonlybeoperatedwithsuchPELV
voltages,aspertherelevantspecification.Thisprovidesreliableprotection
againstelectricshockonthecontrolside.
The24VsupplyvoltagenecessaryforthePELVcircuitisprovidedbysup
plymoduleD3DP3xx/xviathebusbar24VDC/GND.

6.6 Connectionofsupplyvoltagesviabusbars
Thevoltagesupplytotheaxismoduleisseparateforthecontrolandpower
sections.Thecontrolsectionreceivesits24Vsupplyfromswitchedmode
powersupplyinthesupplymoduleviatheupperbusbar(+24VDCand
GND).
ThepowersectionintheaxismodulereceivesitsDClinksupplyfromthe
supplymoduleviathelowerbusbar(DCLink+andDCLink).

supplymodulearearrangedinalineandareincontactwitheachother.
