Caution
Switchinginthemotorcableisnotallowed.Ifthisinstructionisnotfollowed,
malfunctionsmayoccurinthedeviceandresultintheshutdownoftheaxis
module.
Itcannotbeexcludedthatswitchinginthemotorcablewillresultinthede
structionoftheaxismodule.
Tointerruptthesupplyofpowertotheservomotor,thesafetyfunctionSTO

TheEtherCATfieldbusinterfaceX40Aistypicallyusedfortheconnectionof
thecontrolmoduleD3DU3xx/xoranotherEtherCATcompliantcontrol
modulewithEtherCATmaster.
Itcanalsobeusedasaserviceanddiagnosticsinterface.However,itis
thenonlysuitablefortheconnectionofaPCforcommissioning,serviceand
diagnosticsusingthesoftwareDriveManager.
