You can activate or deactivate
the function by selecting 'User
Settings (LCD display) or Set

tings → Vehicle (Infotainment
System screen) → Convenience
→ Welcome mirror/light'.
The electric type outside rear view
mirror operates even though the
ignition switch or ENGINE START/
STOP button is in the LOCK or OFF
position. However, to prevent
unnecessary battery discharge, do
not adjust the mirrors longer than
necessary whilst the engine is not
running.
In case it is an electric type outside
rear view mirror, don't fold it by
hand. It could cause motor failure.
