If you change the Warning volume,
the Warning volume of other Driver
Assistance functions may change.
䳜 The setting of the Warning timing
and Warning volume applies to all
functions of Forward Collision-
Avoidance Assist.
䳜 Even though 䳒Normal䳓 is selected
for Warning timing, if the front
vehicle suddenly stops, the initial
warning activation time may not
seem late.
䳜 Select 䳒Late䳓 for Warning Timing
when traffic is light and when
driving speed is slow.
If the engine is restarted, Warning
timing and Warning volume will
maintain the last setting.

The basic function for Forward Colli

sion-Avoidance Assist is to warn and
control the vehicle depending on the
collision level: 䳒Collision warning!䳓,
䳒Emergency braking䳓 and 䳒Stopping
vehicle and ending brake control䳓.
Collision warning!
䳜 To warn the driver of a collision,
the 'collision warning!' warning
message will appear on the clus
-
ter, an audible warning will sound
and the steering wheel will
vibrate.
䳜 If a vehicle is detected in front,
the function will operate when
your vehicle speed is between
approximately 10~180 km/h
(6~112 mph).
