Passenger䳓s front air bag OFF indi

cator (if equipped)
The passenger䳓s front air
bag OFF indicator illuminates
for about 4 seconds after
the ignition switch or the ENGINE
START/STOP button is turned to the
ON position.
The passenger䳓s front air bag OFF
indicator also comes on when the
passenger䳓s front air bag ON/OFF
switch is set to the OFF position and
goes off when the passenger䳓s front
air bag ON/OFF switch is set to the
ON position.
CAUTION
If the passenger䳓s front air bag ON/
OFF switch malfunctions, the pas
-
senger䳓s front air bag OFF indicator
will not illuminate (The passenger's
front air bag ON indicator comes on
and goes off after approximately 60
seconds) and the passenger䳓s front
air bag will inflate in a frontal impact
even if the passenger䳓s front air bag
ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF
position.
In this case, have the passenger䳓s
front air bag ON/OFF switch and the
SRS air bag system inspected by a
professional workshop.
