AUDIT DATA
fundamental gaming macHine audit data
Casino operator’s are required to audit their gaming machines. The machine’s audit information must be
accurate so the operator’s accounting team can balance the accounting, or determine if there has been any theft,
embezzlement, or malfunction.
life-to-date audit data
There is one accounting meter for Key-On Credits that will accumulate the total value of credits keyed-on since
the last RAM clear. The Key-On Credit transactions are required to be added to an appropriate log, similar to a
bill in history log. The Key-On Credit history log must have at least the 80 most recent transactions.
game Recall data
The Key-On Credit in the current game recall record will accumulate all Key-On Credit transactions that occurred
since completion of the last game.
The Atten. Paid Canc. Credit(s) accumulator in the current game recall record will accumulate all attendant paid
cancelled credit transactions that occurred since completion of the last game.
Note: Immediately after RAM Clear a game recall record hasn’t yet been created, so any Key-On Credit or
Attendant Paid Cancelled credit data will not be available in game recall until at least one game has been played.
caSino flooR SyStem communication
Currently there is no provision in SAS protocol nor G2S protocol to indicate a Key-On Credit transaction, therefore
the casino oor system is not able to reconcile any Key-On Credit data with the other available data communicated
from the KXP machine. This is considered acceptable since it is expected that the use of Key-On Credit capability
will imply that no casino oor system is connected.
If a KXP machine is congured for Key-On Credit enabled and SAS protocol enabled, it is expected that all SAS
protocol functions will perform in a typical manner; however, none of the Key-On Credit events/meters/logs data
can be sent to the SAS host (casino oor system). The KXP is expected to send exception $3C (Operator Changed
Options) in order to cause the casino oor system to query the machine data for the player’s credit meter with
the newly added Key-On Credits.
Ram cleaR oPtion foR Key-on cReditS
A new KXP RAM Clear option is required for Key-On Credits functionality. The default status of previously unused
RAM Clear card option data will be zero (0) in order to be backward compatible with older RAM Clear cards. The
RAM Clear value of zero means that the Key-On Credit function is disabled and is not congurable. The value
must be changed to enable the Key-On Credit function.
The new RAM Clear option (KEY_ON_CREDIT_MODE) may be congured to one of the following settings:
VALUE MODE DESCRIPTION
0 Disabled Always disabled and not congurable.
1 Enabled Always enabled and not congurable.
2 Congurable RAM Clear/Setup congurable to be enabled or disabled.
? Undened Reserved for future use.
