The EasyTarpcurtain tensioning device re-
leases or tensions the side curtains using a
pneumatically operated tensioning device
with four curtain hooks.

On trailers with a lifting roof, the curtain
tensioning device is equipped with a pulley.
The curtain tensioning device is supplied
by the trailer's compressed air system.
Depending on the version, the EasyTarp
curtain tensioning device is equipped with
one of the following for re-tightening
○ a threaded rod (see "" pg.91) or
○ a grid (see "" pg.92).
If the pneumatic device fails, the EasyTarp
curtain tensioning device can also be un-
locked manually(see "" pg.93).

► Turn the switch to the "open" position.
ð The locking hooks open.
CAUTION!Danger of crushing! After
opening, turn the switch to the
"manual" position to depressurise the
system.
► Release the curtain tensioning device
at the rear of the vehicle (see "6.2.5
Rear curtain tensioning device", pg.82).
