The EasyTarpcurtain tensioning device re-
leases or tensions the side curtains using a
pneumatically operated tensioning device
with four curtain hooks.

On trailers with a lifting roof, the curtain
tensioning device is equipped with a pulley.
The curtain tensioning device is supplied
by the trailer's compressed air system.
Depending on the version, the EasyTarp
curtain tensioning device is equipped with
one of the following for re-tightening
○ a threaded rod (see "" pg.91) or
○ a grid (see "" pg.92).
If the pneumatic device fails, the EasyTarp
curtain tensioning device can also be un-
locked manually(see "" pg.93).

Turn the switch to the "open" position.
ð The locking hooks open.
CAUTION!Danger of crushing! After
opening, turn the switch to the
"manual" position to depressurise the
system.
Release the curtain tensioning device
at the rear of the vehicle (see "6.2.5
Rear curtain tensioning device", pg.82).
