Personal safety
precautions:
Contact emergency personnel immediately. In case of spillage,
isolate the hazard area. Avoid contact with the hazardous sub-
stance and avoid inhaling vapors. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Where there is insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory
equipment. Use suitable protective equipment.
Environmental precautions
and clean-up methods:
If no emergency personnel are available, contain spilled mate-
rial. Remove solid or absorbed material using a tool and place
in a suitable, labeled waste container. Prevent the product from
entering the drainage system, surface waters and soil. Notify
the competent authorities, if required.
Personal protection in the
event of a large spill:
Before handling this product, consult a specialist regarding pro-
tective equipment. Wear splash goggles, full suit, boots and
gloves.
Handling:
Prevent contact with skin or clothing. Spilled and leaked product
must be prevented from coming into contact with soil and sur-
face waters. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage:
Keep containers tightly sealed. Keep containers in a cool, well-
ventilated area.
Unsuitable:
Avoid prolonged exposure to increased temperatures.

Protective measures

exposure in the workplace:
Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls.
Hygiene measures:
Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling
chemical products.
Respiratory protection:
Sufficient ventilation is recommended in industry. If ventilation is
insufficient, respiratory protection is useful.
