You will see a progress bar indicating the progress. If update was successful you will see a
conrmation message. If there was a failure you will see a self-explanatory failure message
(with error code) to indicate the failure.
Install using a computer/tablet
1. Download the System Update le from the Kurzweil website or another reliable source
and save it in a known folder or directory on your ash drive.
2. Connect the Forte SE (powered o) to the computer/tablet with the USB cable provided
into the USB COMPUTER slot.
3. Follow the instructions specied on page 14-1 to enter System Mode.
4. In System Mode, select System Update.
5. Select PC USB as the storage type.
