IGNITION COIL INSPECTION
Continuity Test
Measure the resistance between the ignition
coil primary coil terminals.
Resistance (20¢J): 0.2_ 0.3W
Measure the secondary coil resistance
between the spark plug cap and the primary
coil terminal as Figure A shown.
Resistance (20¢J) (with plug cap):
8.0_ 9.3KW
Measure the secondary coil resistance
between the ignition coil terminal and the
primary coil terminal as Figure B shown.
Resistance (20¢J) (without plug cap):
3.0_ 4.2KW
This test is to inspect the continuity of
ignition coil.
