14. BATTERY/CHARGING SYSTEM/
A.C. GENERATOR
REGULATOR/RECTIFIER
INSPECTION
Remove the front covers.
Remove the regulator/rectifier 4P coupler and
check for continuity between the wire harness
terminals according to the following :
Yellow
R
G
Forward
Reverse
Forward: Pass
Black
Volt. Sensor
IC
Reverse: Disconnect
Connect the voltmeter with battery wires.
Start the engine and gradually increase the engine
speed.
The battery terminal voltage should be within 14.0
-15.0V.
