12. FRONT WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
BEARING INSPECTION
Remove the side collar and dust seal.
Turn the inner race of each bearing with your
finger to see if they turn smoothly and quietly.
Replace the new bearings if not turning
smoothly, quietly or loose.
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Remove the front wheel bearings and distance
collar.
Bearing Puller (12 mm) E020
Pack all bearing cavities with grease.
Drive in the left bearing.
Install the distance collar.
Drive in the right bearing.
Oil Seal & Bearing Driver E014
Dust Seal Side Collar
Bearing Puller (12 mm)
Do not allow the bearings to tilt while
driving them in.
Drive in the bearing squarely with the
Oil Seal & Bearing Driver
