Installation
Twist lower handle section slightly and route
cable up through tube from housing end of
handle.

Install washer onto upper cable end.
Route cable end through hole in lower handle
console. Install nut onto cable until
4
or
5
threads are showing.
Pull down on cable until nut is positioned in slot
of lower handle console. Slide washer up cable
and install E-ring in recess of lower handle
console to retain ring.

Install cable
"Z"
end into self-propelled
bail from inside as shown.

Reassemble self-propelled bail and blade con-
trol bail to bail block.
Torque ball block screw to
65
in.-lbs.

Secure bail pivot to handle.

Assemble blade control bail to left side of
handle.
NOTE:
Check position of all cables, levers
and wires to ensure proper location.
Install upper cover assembly to handle console.
Be sure to insert locating pin on upper case
assembly into mounting hole in left side of
handle. Tighten six mounting screws securely.

Reassemble throttle and gear shift knobs to
levers.

Twist handle knuckle slightly and route
self-propelled cable (spring end) through
handle mounting hole in housing.
