NOTE:
Oil Injection Models:
To
prevent pos-
sible powerhead damage resulting from air
entering oil line during servicing; we recom-
mend draining fuel tank and running mower
using
a
64:1
fuel/oil pre-mix until no air bubbles
are observed in oil lines. Minimum
20
minutes.
If
battery is fully charged make sure case
is
clean and place in storage.
If
the battery is in a discharged condition
it
should be charged before placing in storage.
Never allow a discharged battery to sit more
than
24
hours without charging, damage to the
battery will result.
To
charge battery, plug the
adapter end of the Lawn-Boy charger supplied
into the receptacle at the handle console and
plug the charger into a 115 volt AC outlet.
Allow the battery to charge for 10-12 hours. Do
not charge battery for more than
12
hours
maximum. Battery should be recharged after
6
months of storage for 10-1 2 hours maximum.
Disconnect the battery charger from mower
during storage.
SAFETY WARNING: When charging
a
battery use only the Lawn-Boy
charger supplied with the mower.
If
proper
charger is not used, damage may occur
to
the battery and the battery may expiodeand
result in injury to you
or
others.
Remove the spark plug. Using an oil can,
squirt about one tablespoon of Lawn-Boy
2-
CYCLE ASHLESS OIL into the spark plug hole.
Replace the spark plug but do not connect the
spark plug lead.
Rotate
the
engine several times, using
rope starter to distribute the oil.
