Strike-Off BladeStrike-Off Blade
You will need an assistant to attach and remove the
optional strike-off blade attachment to the front of the
broom. (Figure 4-26)
1. Park the broom on a level surface, turn off the
engine and engage the parking brake.
2. Clean the blade-mounting front fender thoroughly
before attaching blade.
3. Support the blade with jack stands in front of the
broom front fender.

The optional telescoping steering column coupled with
the standard tilt column adds maximum cab comfort on
the job. (Figure 4-27) The telescoping steering column
option allows you to tilt the steering column and adjust
your steering wheel for a more comfortable ride.
