Check the drive axle oil level at least every six months
and ll with gear oil if needed.
To ll the oil:
1. Rotate the hub on one side of the front axle until
the plug is in the 12 o’clock position.
2. Remove the plug.
3. Add one quart of 80W-90LS GL5 oil..
4. Replace the plug.
5. Follow Steps 1 - 4 on the other side.
Change the drive axle oil every 12 months:
1. Remove the level plug in the center of the housing.
2. Remove the breather plug in the housing.
3. Add oil until it starts coming out of the level plug.
4. Replace the level plug.
5. Allow the axle to sit level for at least ve minutes to
allow the oil to ow to the hubs.
6. Remove the level plug and check oil level.
7. Add more oil if needed.
