LB Performance CB95 Broom 5-21
Brush Drive Relief ValveBrush Drive Relief Valve

after the priority divider supplies the power steering.
The Brush Drive Relief Valve protects the brush drive
circuit and is also located end of the rotation control
valve under the cab on the right side of the broom.
(Figure 5-19)
Adjust the Brush Drive Relief Valve if:
Brush stalls frequently.
Brush lacks sweeping power.
There is a constant noise while sweeping.
Only an experienced technician
should perform this procedure as death or serious
injury can result from improper valve adjustments.
See your authorized LB Performance dealer for
assistance if needed.
To adjust the Brush Drive Relief Valve:
1. Set the park brake and ensure the transmission is in

2. Plumb a 0 - 5000 PSI (0 - 345 Bar) pressure gauge
into the rotation ow circuit. (Figure 5-18 includes

4. Start the engine and warm the hydraulic oil to at
least 100° F.
5. Engage the brush drive control handle to turn brush
in the forward direction.
6. Increase engine speed to 2500 RPMs.
7. Using the Brush Forward/Reverse control, turn the
brush motor ON to engage the control valve.
8. The pressure gauge should read 2500 PSI +/- 100
PSI.
9. Disengage the brush drive control lever.
10. Adjust relief pressure by removing the Relief
Pressure Locknut and turning the adjusting
screw clockwise to increase pressure, or
