disconnecttheserverfromthepowersource;then,wait10
secondsbeforerestartingtheserver.

memoryerror.Completethefollowingstepstocorrectthe
problem:
1.ReseatorswaptheDIMMswithlitLEDs.
2.Checkthesystem-eventlogsforinformationaboutthe

3.Updatetheserverfirmwaretothelatestlevel(see

4.ReplacethefailingDIMM(see“InstallingaDIMM”on

islit,apowersupplyhasfailed.
IftheCONFIGLEDisnotlit,thesystemmightdetectapower
supplyerror.Completethefollowingstepstocorrectthe
problem:
1.Checkthepower-supplywithanlityellowLED(see
“Power-supplyLEDs”onpage139).
2.Makesurethatthepowersuppliesareseatedcorrectly
andpluggedinagoodACoutlet.
3.Removeoneofthepowersuppliestoisolatethefailed
powersupply.
4.Makesurethatbothpowersuppliesinstalledintheserver
areofthesamevoltage.
