DIMMsimultaneously.TheretainingclipssnapintothelockedpositionwhentheDIMMisfirmly
seatedintheconnector.
Note:IfthereisagapbetweentheDIMMandtheretainingclips,theDIMMhasnotbeencorrectly
inserted;opentheretainingclips,removetheDIMM,andthenreinsertit.
Step10.Reinstalltheairbaffleifitwasremovedbefore(see“Installingtheairbaffle”onpage190).
Step11.Reinstallandlocktheleft-sidecover(see“Installingtheleft-sidecover”onpage185).
Ifyouhavereplacedaservercomponentorinstalledanoptionaldeviceintheserver,youneedtoreconnect
thepowercordsandallexternalcables,andturnontheserverandperipheraldevices.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremoveahypervisorflashdevice,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage184).
Step2.Unlocktheretentionlatchbypushingitdowntowardthesystemboard.
