.Afteryouhaverecovered
thefirmwareintheprimarybank,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Restarttheserver.
Step2.WhenthepromptPressF3torestoretoprimaryisdisplayed,pressF3tostarttheserverfrom
theprimarybank.
Nx-bootfailure
UsethisinformationforNx-bootfailure.
Configurationchanges,suchasaddeddevicesoradapterfirmwareupdates,andfirmwareorapplication
codeproblemscancausetheservertofailPOST(thepower-onself-test).Ifthisoccurs,theserverresponds
ineitherofthefollowingways:
•TheserverrestartsautomaticallyandattemptsPOSTagain.
•Theserverhangs,andyoumustmanuallyrestarttheserverfortheservertoattemptPOSTagain.
Afteraspecifiednumberofconsecutiveattempts(automaticormanual),theNx-bootfailurefeaturecauses
theservertoreverttothedefaultUEFIconfigurationandstarttheSetuputilitysothatyoucanmakethe
necessarycorrectionstotheconfigurationandrestarttheserver.Iftheserverisunabletosuccessfully
completePOSTwiththedefaultconfiguration,theremightbeaproblemwiththesystemboard.
