TheLenovoDocumentationCDrequiresthefollowingminimumhardwareandsoftware:
•MicrosoftWindowsorRedHatLinux
•100MHzmicroprocessor
•32MBofRAM
•AdobeAcrobatReader3.0(orlater)orxpdf,whichcomeswithLinuxoperatingsystems
TheDocumentationBrowser
UsetheDocumentationBrowsertobrowsethecontentsoftheCD,readbriefdescriptionsofthedocuments,
andviewdocuments,usingAdobeAcrobatReaderorxpdf.
TheDocumentationBrowserautomaticallydetectstheregionalsettingsinuseinyourserveranddisplays
thedocumentsinthelanguageforthatregion(ifavailable).Ifadocumentisnotavailableinthelanguage
forthatregion,theEnglish-languageversionisdisplayed.Useoneofthefollowingprocedurestostart
theDocumentationBrowser:
•IfAutostartisenabled,inserttheCDintotheCDorDVDdrive.TheDocumentationBrowserstarts
automatically.
•IfAutostartisdisabledorisnotenabledforallusers,useoneofthefollowingprocedures:
–IfyouareusingaWindowsoperatingsystem,inserttheCDintotheCDorDVDdriveandclickStart➙
Run.IntheOpenfield,type:

server.Somedocumentsmightbeinfolders.Aplussign(+)indicateseachfolderordocumentthathas
additionaldocumentsunderit.Clicktheplussigntodisplaytheadditionaldocuments.
Whenyouselectadocument,adescriptionofthedocumentisdisplayedunderTopicDescription.Toselect
morethanonedocument,pressandholdtheCtrlkeywhileyouselectthedocuments.ClickViewBook
