NoDIMMerrorLEDsarelitonthesystemboard.
Memorymirroredchanneldoesnotaccountforthediscrepancy.
Thememorymodulesareseatedcorrectly.
Youhaveinstalledthecorrecttypeofmemory.
Ifyouchangedthememory,youupdatedthememoryconfigurationinthe
Setuputility.
Allbanksofmemoryareenabled.Theservermighthaveautomatically
disabledamemorybankwhenitdetectedaproblem,oramemorybank
mighthavebeenmanuallydisabled.
Thereisnomemorymismatchwhentheserverisattheminimummemory
configuration.
2.ReseattheDIMMs,andthenrestarttheserver.
3.CheckthePOSTerrorlog:
IfaDIMMwasdisabledbyasystems-managementinterrupt(SMI),replace
theDIMM.
IfaDIMMwasdisabledbytheuserorbyPOST,reseattheDIMM;then,run
theSetuputilityandenabletheDIMM.
4.CheckthatallDIMMsareinitializedintheSetuputility;then,runmemory
diagnostics(see“RunningDSAPrebootdiagnosticprograms”onpage145).
