•Power-onLED:
WhenthisLEDislitandnotflashing,itindicatesthattheserveristurnedon.Thestatesofthepower-on
LEDareasfollows:
–Off:
Powerisnotpresentorthepowersupply,ortheLEDitselfhasfailed.
–Flashingrapidly(4timespersecond):
Theserveristurnedoffandisnotreadytobeturnedon.Thepower-controlbuttonisdisabled.This
willlastapproximately5to10seconds.
–Flashingslowly(oncepersecond):
Theserveristurnedoffandisreadytobeturnedon.Youcanpressthepower-controlbuttonto
turnontheserver.
–Lit:
Theserveristurnedon.
•EthernetactivityLEDs:
WhenanyoftheseLEDsisflashing,theyindicatethattheserveristransmittingtoorreceivingsignals
fromtheEthernetLANthatisconnectedtotheEthernetportthatcorrespondstothatLED.
•System-locatorLED:
UsethisblueLEDtovisuallylocatetheserveramongotherservers.YoucanuseIBMSystemsDirectorto
lightthisLEDremotely.ThisLEDiscontrolledbytheIMM2.Whenyoulightthesystem-locatorLED,the
LEDwillblinkanditwillcontinuetoblinkuntilyouturnitoff.
•ChecklogLED:
WhenthisyellowLEDislit,itindicatesthatthereareerrorsthatrequirefurtherdiagnosis.ChecktheIMM2
eventlogforadditionalinformation.See“Eventlogs”onpage141
formoreinformationabouteventlogs.
•System-errorLED:
WhenthisyellowLEDislit,itindicatesthatasystemerrorhasoccurred.AnLEDonthelightpath
