1.4 Legal regulations
All components of the Lenze I/O system IP20 are unequivocally identified through
the contents of the nameplate.

Components of the Lenze I/O system IP20

must only be operated under the conditions prescribed in this Manual.
z
are not approved for use in potentially explosive environments.
z
are electric units for the installation into control cabinets or similar enclosed
operating housing.

comply with the requirements of the Low-Voltage Directive.
z
are not machines for the purpose of the Machinery Directive.
z
are not to be used as domestic appliances, but for industrial purposes only.
The user is responsible for the compliance of his application with the EC directives.
Any other use shall be deemed inappropriate!
The information, data, and notes in this Manual met the state of the art at the time
of printing. Claims on modifications referring to components of the I/O system
