5 Fault messages and troubleshooting
The CP5 system undergoes continuous self-monitoring. Faults that occur (e.g. the failure of a
component) are displayed in the system menu.
5.1 Fault messages
5.1.1 Unspecified faults
Malfunctions – Possible cause(s)
◗ Measures (please proceed in the order listed)
The fuse on the system socket of the overall
system trips.
– Pump control panel or drive unit defective
◗ Push the fuse back in
(Should the fuse trip again, the pump control panel or
the drive unit is defective. The pump control panel or
the drive unit cannot be used.)
◗ Check wiring/connection
◗ Check/replace the pump control panel cable
◗ Check/replace the switch
◗ Check/replace the drive unit cable
