feeder models covered in this manual.
1-8 TRANSPORT
The power feeder STEFF is packaged
in one single box that contains both
the feeder and the support.
It is advisable to keep the packing
material for subsequent transport
requirements.
1-9 SETUP REQUIREMENTS
We can only guarantee the problem-
free, long-lasting functionality and
precision of your machine and safe
operation if the following requirements
on the setup area are fulfilled.
- The machine must stand in a dry,
enclosed room with temperatures
between +10°C and +40°C.\
- There must be sufficient room
around the machine so the operator
cannot be squeezed between the
machine and a wall when any
movable parts are estended.
- The power cable must be laid so the
operator cannot trip over it.
- The machine must be connected to a
stable current supply with max.
deviations of +/-10% in the rated
voltage.
- The machine ground wire must be
connected to the system ground
wire.
