Verify that the working bench
onwhich the support base is
assembled is sturdy and stable.
The power feeder must be secured
onto the machine’s main surface
and not onto surfeces considered
unstable (see Fig.8 - Fig.9 - Fig.10).
Make sure the locking handle (K)
that secures the vertical column to
the base has been properly
tightened (see Fig.7).

2-3 FITTING THE PROTECTING
BRUSHES
The last step consists in fastening the
protecting brushes to their housings
with the 4 screws supplied along with
the spanner in the outfit.
Fig.11 illustrates the fitting on a 3-
roller feeder unit.
2-4 MOUNTING THE POWER
FEEDER ON THE SUPPORT
Once the support has been fastened
to the workstand, one only needs to
attach the feeder unit by using the
specially-designed collar (M) (see
Fig.5) fitted at the end of the support.
Two screws are used: a tightening
screw (P) and a guide screw (Q); the
latter must not be tightened but only
screwed over until it touches.
