Power Trim System Removal
Support outboard with tilt lock lever when servicing
power trim system.
1. Disconnect power trim harness from outboard wir-
ing harness.
2. Remove screw and clip securing wiring harness
to clamp bracket.
3. Remove trim gauge sender (if equipped).
4. Use suitable tool to remove upper headed cross
pin. Retain pin. Straight pin is hard to remove (see
item 5).

5. Drive out upper pivot pin. This will shear cross pin.

Inspect cross pin hole and pivot pin hole for damage.
6. Use suitable punch to remove lower cross pin.
Retain cross pin.

7. Use suitable punch to drive out lower pivot pin.
