Thefootkicksensingfunctioncanbesetonoroffwitha
softswitchontheentertainmentdisplayasneeded.When
washingyourcarorperformingmaintenanceandservice
workneartherearbumper,topreventthetailgatefrom
openingduetoaccidentaltriggeringofthesensingfunction,
pleaserstturnoffthefootkicksensingfunctionwiththe
softswitchontheentertainmentdisplay.
Insomecases,thetailgateopeningbyfootkicksensing
methodwillnotbeavailableorwillbelimited,soyoucan
openorclosethetailgateinotherways.
Anti-pinchFunction
FunctionON:Incaseanyobjectthatmayinterferewith
theopeningofthetailgateisdetected,thetailgatewillstop
openingandclosebackatacertainangletopromptforthe
obstacle.
FunctionOFF:Incaseanyobjectthatmayinterferewith
theclosingofthetailgateisdetected,thetailgatewillstop
closingandopenbackatacertainangletopromptforthe
obstacle.
Note:Iftheelectrictailgateisoperatedseveraltimes
inashortperiodoftimeandtriggersthethermal
protection,thesystemwillsuspendtheelectric
openingandclosingfunctionforprotectivereasons.In
thissituation,manuallyclosethetailgatecompletely
onceandwaitformorethanthreeminutestoresume
thefunctionoftheelectrictailgatesystem.
Note:Iftheelectrictailgateanti-pinchfunctionis
activatedformultipletimesconsecutively,thesystem
willsuspendtheelectricopeningandclosingfunction
forprotectivereasons.Inthissituation,manuallyclose
thetailgatecompletelyoncetoresumethefunctionof
theelectrictailgatesystem.
