HDCisjustanauxiliaryfunction,which
cannotensurethatthevehicleisdriven
downasteepslopeatlowspeedunder
allcircumstances(suchasslipperyground,
snowyroadsurfaceorexcessiveslope,etc.).
EvenwhenHDCisinuse,thedrivershall
stillpaycloseattentiontothedrivingstate
ofthevehicle,andtakeactivecontrolwhen
necessary.Becauseincertaincases,HDC
mayremoveitselffromtheoperatingstate
temporarily.
Undersomedrivingconditionsondownhill
surfaces(e.g.drivingdownaslopewith
highspeed,smallslope,etc.),HDCis
inoperative,sothedrivershallberequired
tocontrolthespeedbydepressingthe
brakepedaltoensurethesafedriving.
HDCsystemisanauxiliaryfunctiondesignedforvehicles
runningonacutedownhillsurface.Itreducesthespeedby
applyingthebrakeforce,thusassiststhedrivertodriveon
acutedownhillsurfacesmoothly.
Note:WhentheHDCisworking,itisnormalforthe
brakesystemtogenerateslightvibrationorworking
noise.
Note:WhentheHDCisworking,donotshifttoN
gear,sincethisoperationwilldeactivatetheHDC
function.
