ItisimpossibleforHHCtokeepthevehicle
inastandstillstateunderallcircumstances
(e.g.slipperyground,snowandice,etc.)
whengoinguphill,andthedrivermust
constantlypayattentiontothevehicle
condition.
WiththeHHCinservice,thedriveris
strictlyprohibitedfromleavingthevehicle,
otherwiseseriousaccidentsmayoccur.
Duringhillstartunderastop-and-goroad
condition,pleasesteponthebrakepedal
deeplyforseveralsecondsbeforeeach
start.
HHCassiststhedriverby'holding'thevehicleduringhill
starts.Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedal,theHHCwill
holdthevehiclestationaryforashorttime.
HHCwillbeactivatedwhenthefollowingconditionsare
metatthesametime:
•Thedriver'sseatbelthasbeenfastenedandthedriver's
doorisclosed.
•Thevehicleisstoppedsteadilyonaslope.
•SCSisfaultfree.
•EPBisfaultfreeandreleased.
•Thepowersystemisstarted.
•ThevehicleisinDorRgear.
•Sufcientforcehasbeenappliedonthebrakepedal
beforestart.
Note:TheHHCcanalsoworkwhenthevehicleis
reversinguphill.
