functionthatassiststhedriver,butdoes
notreplacethedriverindriving.Dueto
thelimitationsofsystemdetectionand
controlwhenusingtheintelligentcruise
assistfunction,thedrivermustalways
holdthesteeringwheel,beawareofthe
surroundings,andcorrectortakeoverthe
steeringwheelcontrolwhennecessary;
otherwiseaccidentsorpersonalinjuries
maybecaused.
•AdjustmentKnob(1);
•PilotSwitch(2);
Thefunctionswitchislocatedontheentertainmentdisplay,
andthesystemcanbeturnedon/offintheappropriate
DriverAssistanceinterface.
Whenthefollowingconditionsaremet:
•TheICAswitchontheentertainmentdisplayison;
•Thesystemdetectsthelanelinesonbothsidesofthe
vehicle;
•ThevehicleisinDrivegear.
AshortpressonthePilotswitchactivatestheintelligent
cruiseassist.Theintelligentcruiseassistworksonthe
basisofadaptivecruisecontrol.Ifthelanelinesaheadon
bothsidesareclear ,thesystemwillassistthevehiclein
drivingwithinthelanelines;atlowspeeds,ifthereare
othervehiclesaheadandthelanelinesarenotclear,the
systemcanassistthevehicleinfollowingthetrackofthe
vehicleahead.
Note:WhenACCisactiveandtheaboveconditions
aremet,theintelligentcruiseassistsystemcanbe
activatedwithoutpressingthePilotswitch.
