T yreWearIndicators
Thetyresttedasoriginalequipmenthave1.6mm-high
wearindicatorsattheirtreadpatternbottom,verticalwith
thewheelrollingdirectionandevenlydistributedaround
thecircumference.Themarkonthetyresidesuchas
capitallettersTWIortriangularsymbolshowsthelocation
ofwearindicator.
Whenthetreadhasworndownto1.6mmorbelow,the
indicatorswillcometothesurfaceofthetreadpattern,
producingtheeffectofacontinuousbandofrubberacross
thewidthofthetyre.
IMPORTANT
AtyreMUSTbereplacedassoonasawearmark
becomesvisible.Otherwisetheremaybeariskof
accidents.
