Emergencybrakingwhilstunderthecontrol
offorwardcollisionsystemmaycause
injuriestothepassengers.Therefore,drive
carefullyandallpassengersMUSTwear
seatbeltsatalltimes.
Ensureforwardcollisionsystemor
ignition/vehiclepowersystemisswitched
offwhenbeingtowed.Ifforwardcollision
systemisenabledwhenthevehicleisbeing
towed,adverseeffectsmayaffectthesafety
ofyourvehicle,thetowingvehicleandthe
peoplearound.
Toavoidtheoccurrenceofaccidents,never
speciallytestthefunctionsofforward
collisionsystem.
Theforwardcollisionassistsystemswitchislocatedonthe
entertainmentdisplay.Thesystemcanbeturnedon/offin
theappropriateDriverAssistanceinterface,andthemode
canbeselected.

Whenthesystemdetectsariskofcollisionbetweenthis
vehicleandthevehicleaheadinthislaneorpedestrians,it
willgivewarningstopromptthedrivertoslowdownand
keeparelativelysafedistancefromthevehicleaheador
pedestriansandarelativelysafespeed.
