DONOTrestyourfootonthebrake
pedalwhiledriving;thismayoverheatthe
brakesandreducetheirefciency,causing
excessiveweartothebrakecomponents.
Thefreetravelofbrakepedalisintherangeof0～30mm.
Reasonableusagescopeofbrakefrictionpair:notlessthan
2mmforthicknessofbrakepads,28~30mmforfront
brakedisc,and10~12mm(PHEV/HEVModel),8~10
mm(GasolineModel)forrearbrakedisc.
Fortherst1500km,youshouldavoidsituationswhere
heavybrakingisrequired.
Notethatregularservicingisvitaltoensurethatall
thebrakecomponentsareexaminedforwearatthe
correctintervals,andreplacedwhennecessarytoensure
long-termsafetyduringtheintervalprescribedinWarranty
andMaintenanceManual.
Thevehicleneedstoruninfor800kmafterthebrakepad
ordiscisreplaced.
BrakeFluidCheckandT opUp
Brakeuidishighlytoxic,keepthebrake
uidsealedandstoredoutofreachof
children.Ifaccidentalcontactofbrake
uidissuspected,seekmedicalattention
immediately.
Preventbrakeuidcomingintocontact
withtheskinoreyes.Ifthisoccurs,rinse
immediatelywithplentyofwater.Ifeyes
arestillred,painfuloruncomfortable,seek
medicalattentionimmediately.
Thebrakeuidlevelshouldbecheckedweeklywhenthe
systemiscoldandwiththecaronalevelground.Clean
thecoverrstbeforeopeningthebrakeuidreservoir.
Thebrakeuidlevelcanbeseenthroughthereservoirand
shouldbemaintainedbetweenthe"MAX"and"MIN"
marks.
Note:Donotallowthebrakeuidleveltodropbelow
the"MIN"markorriseabovethe"MAX"mark.
