Thismayaffectthenormaloperationofthe
SRS.
DONOTallowtheseareastobeooded
withliquidandDONOTusepetrol,
detergent,furniturecreamorpolishes.
Ifwaterentersthevehicle,itmaycause
damagetotheSRS.Inthiscase,evenif
thecollisiondoesnotoccur,theairbag
mayaccidentallydeploy.Immediately
shutdowntheengineanddisconnectthe
batterycable;donottrytostartthepower
system.SeekanMGAuthorisedRepairer
forservice.
Iftheairbagwarninglampfailstoilluminateorremainson,
orthereisanydamageinthefrontorsideofthevehicle
andthecoverofairbagmodulehasanysignofdamage,
pleasegotoalocalAuthorisedrepairertocheckSRSof
thevehicle.
IMPORTANT
•Theremovalorreplacementofanairbagmodule
shouldbecarriedoutbyanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
•After10yearsfromtheinitialdateofregistration(or
installationdateofareplacementairbag),some
componentswillneedtobereplacedbyanMG
AuthorisedRepairer.Theappropriatepageofthe
ServicePortfoliomustbesignedandstampedonce
theworkhasbeencompleted.
