oftime,itwillautomaticallyreturntoDgear.
Kick-down
Thedrivewheelsmayskidwhenkick-down
isactivatedonroadsurfaceswithlow
adhesion,thismayleadtothevehicle
slidingoutofcontrol.
WithDgearselected,pressingtheacceleratorpedalall
thewaydowninonemotion(alsoknownasKick-down
)willprovidebetteraccelerationperformanceduring
overtaking.Atcertainspeeds,itwillallowthetransmission
toshifttoalowergearimmediately,andprovidefast
acceleration.Oncetheacceleratorpedalisreleased,it
willresumeasuitablehighergear(basedonthevehicle
speedandthepositionoftheacceleratorpedal).
ProtectionMode
Whenparking,drivethevehicletoasafe
areaonthepremiseofensuringyour
ownsafetyandcomplyingwithtrafc
regulations.
AutomaticT ransmissionOverheatProtection
Theautomatictransmissionmaybecomeveryhot
duringfrequentstartsinhotenvironmentsorwhenthe
transmissionisoverloaded.T opreventtransmission
damage,thesystemwillperformtheoverheatprotection
function,andtheinstrumentpackinterfacewilldisplay
"Hightransmissiontemperature,pleasedrivewith
caution".
Thevehiclecanstillbedrivenbutthetransmissionwill
performtorquelimitingcontroltoreducetransmission
temperature.Asthevehicleisdrivenandthetransmission
temperaturedropstothenormalrange,thewarning
messageintheinstrumentpackinterfacedisappearsand
thetransmissionfunctionreturnstonormal.
