Thelaneassistsystemisanauxiliarysystem
thatprovidesassistancetothedriver.It
doesNOTremovetheresponsibilityofsafe
drivingfromthedriver.Whenchoosingto
usethelaneassistsystem,thedriverMUST
alwayspayattentiontothesurroundings,
holdthesteeringwheelandbeprepared
tocorrectortakeoverthesteeringwheel
control.Failuretomaintainoverallcontrol
ofthevehiclemayresultinanaccidentor
personalinjury.
Thelaneassistsystemdoesnotalways
recognisethelanelinesorcurbs.
Sometimespoorroadsurfaces,certainroad
structuresorobjectsmaybemistakenfor
lanelinesorcurbs.Whensuchsituations
occur,thelaneassistsystemmustbe
immediatelyturnedoff.
Thelanekeepingassist(LKA)systemswitchislocated
ontheentertainmentdisplay.Thesystemcanbeturned
on/offintheappropriateDriverAssistanceinterface,and
themodecanbeselected.
Alert
Thesystemdetectsthelanelinesaheadwhenthefollowing
detectionconditionsaremet:
•ThefunctionisinONstate;
•Thevehiclespeedisabove60km/h;
•Thelanelinesareclear,andthesystemdetectsatleast
onelaneline;
Whenthewheelisabouttorunonthelaneline,the
systemwillgivewarningstoremindthedrivertocorrect
thedirectionintimeandkeepthevehiclerunningwithin
thelanelines.Thefunctionwillexitwhenthespeedisless
than55km/h.

Thesystemdetectsthelanelinesaheadwhenthefollowing
detectionconditionsaremet:
•ThefunctionisinONstate;
•Thevehiclespeedisabove60km/h;
