Ifthewheelisabouttorunonthelanelineorhasalready
runonthelaneline,thesystemwillassistthedriverin
keepingthevehiclerunningwithinthelanelinesbyapplying
correctivesteeringinterventionandprompting.Ifthe
vehicledeviatestoomuchfromthelaneline,thewarning
functionwillbetriggeredatthesametime.Thefunction
willexitwhenthespeedislessthan55km/h.
EmergencyLaneKeeping
Thesystemdetectsthelanelinesahead,kerbsand
vehicleintheadjacentlaneswhenthefollowingdetection
conditionsaremet:
•ThefunctionisinONstate;
•Thevehiclespeedisabove60km/h;
•Thelanelinesorkerbsareclear,andthesystemdetects
atleastonelanelineorkerb;
Ifthewheelsareabouttorunonthelineordriveonto
thekerb,havealreadyrunonthelineordrivenontothe
kerb,orthevehiclehasalanedepartureandhasariskof
collisionwithanoncomingvehicleoravehicleapproaching
frombehindontheadjacentlane,thesystemwillassistthe
driverinkeepingthevehiclerunningwithinthelanelines
orperformingemergencyavoidancebyapplyingcorrective
steeringinterventionsandalerts.Ifthevehicledeviatestoo
much,thelanedeparturewarningfunctionwillbetriggered
atthesametime.Thefunctionwillexitwhenthespeedis
lessthan55km/h.
Whenthesystemappliesinterventionmanytimesina
certainperiodoftime,andmonitorsthatthedriverhas
kepthishandsoffthesteeringwheel,thesystemwillgive
alarms.
IMPORTANT
•Incaseswherethenumberoflanesincreaseorlanes
merge,thedriverMUSTtakefullcontrolofthe
vehicle.
•Inareaswheretherearecomplextrafcconditions
suchasintersectionsorroadjunctionswith
congestion,thedriverMUSTtakefullcontrolofthe
vehicle.
