sensingtechnique.TPMSsensorcanmonitorthepressure
ofvehicle'styreandsendittoareceiverinthevehicle.Y ou
canviewthetyrepressureontheentertainmentdisplay.
TPMScanremindyouoflowtyrepressure,butitcannot
replacenormaltyremaintenance.Fortyremaintenance,
pleasereferto‘T yres’in‘Maintenance’chapter.
Note:TPMSonlygivesthedriverawarningwhenthe
tyrepressureislow,anditwillnotinatethetyre.
IftheTPMSmalfunctionindicatorlamp
illuminates,andthewarningmessage"XXT yrePressure
Insufcient"or"XXT yrePressureLow"isdisplayed,itis
advisedthatyoustopthecarassoonaspossible,check
thetyrepressureandinatethetyretothestandard
pressurevalue.Thetyrepressurelabelattachedtothe
Bpillarindicatesthestandardpressurevaluerequiredby
yourvehicletyreswhentheyarecold.
Drivingwithunder-inatedtyresmayleadtotyreoverheat
andtyrefailure.Inaddition,insufcientinationwillalso
decreasefueleconomy,shortenthelifeoftyretread,
andmayaffecttheoperationalperformanceandbrake
performanceofthevehicle.
TPMSSelf-learning
WhenreplacingaTPMSsensororreceiver ,orperforming
tyrerotation,theTPMSself-learningisrequired,some
vehiclescanperformthefollowingoperationstocomplete
self-learning:
