Whentowingatrailerinmountainousareas,reducethe
totalweightofthevehicleandtrailerbyatleast10%for
every1000mofelevation.
Gradient
Whentowing,youshouldplanyourdrivingroutetoavoid
steepslopesasmuchaspossible.Themaximumdriving
gradientshouldnotbegreaterthan12%whentowing.
T rytoselectdrivingroadsrecommendedbytheT owing
Association.
Run-inPeriod
Itisrecommendedtoavoidtowingatrailerwithintherst
1000kmofyourvehicle.
Stop/StartFunction
Whentowing,pleasedisabletheStop/Startfunction,so
thattheweightofthetrailerdoesnotaffectthebraking
performanceofthevehicle.
T railerMode
Whentowingisrequired,pleaseturnonthetrailermode
functionofyourvehicle,whichcanbeturnedonoroffin
thefollowingways:
1AutoOn/Off:Thevehicleautomaticallyentersor
exitsthetrailermodewhentheelectricalconnection
betweenthetrailerandyourvehicleisconnectedor
disconnected.
2ManualOn/Off:T urnonoroffthisfunctiononthe
entertainmentdisplay.
Note:Whentowingmodehasbeenturnedon
inAutoMode,thetowingfunctioncouldnotbe
adjustedmanuallyontheentertainmentdisplay.
Inthetowingmode,somefunctionsofthevehiclewillbe
limitedorturnedoff,suchas:

•Adaptivecruisecontrolsystem;
